Product Description |
The famous 1941 Steelcraft U.S. Army Patrol Plane inspired our pedal plane. Our plane is made of heavy gauge steel just like the originals. But we added chrome and lots of it. Our windshield, steering wheel, hubcaps, exhaust ports, hood scoops, and propeller are all chrome. When this plane is pedaled, the propeller turns. We make this model in several color combinations. The original U.S. Patrol in deep silver gray, trimmed in red with blue graphics and a red padded seat. We have the Yellow Jacket which is black, trimmed in yellow with a yellow padded seat. The Speed Pilot is red, trimmed in white with a white padded seat. The Air Knight is white, trimmed in red with a red padded seat.
For ages 2 to 6.Features: - Overall Dimensions: Length 45.5", body width 13.5", wing spread 35"
- Materials: Heavy gauge steel, vinyl padded seat
- Wheels: Steel (10" dia in front, 8" in the rear) rubber in front, 5/8" in rear
- Finish: Scratch resistant, rust resistant, child safe, non-toxic powder coating

| What a great toy. My son LOVES it! Why get a plain trike when you can ride around in an airplane?? The plane is super durable. No complaints! |
Sick of cheap junk!

| We have been trying to get our grandson - who LOVES airplanes - a ride on plane for 2 months now. We decided to go with the metal pedal plane thinking it would be better quality than the battery powered one we ordered twice. Well guess what....this box comes half open, bolts are missing, one of the snaps holding the leather around the seat is off, the leather looks worn and the metal just looks cheap. I'm sure my grandson will love it just because it's a plane he can ride in but for $300 I do expect something in brand new condition with all the parts present!! We considered sending it back to get a new one but we've done that twice now and the poor kid keeps asking where his plane is! Amazon should screen companies better - I'm not sure I'll be ordering from Amazon again. |
Not worth the $$$

My son LOVED LOVED LOVED this airplane.
That being said, within days, the nuts fall off. His steering wheel comes off daily, and I have to rebolt it on.
A tire broke within a month, and we had to order a replacement from the store we bought it from. And the manufacturer charged us for the new tire (according to the store).
The propeller doesn't turn properly.
Over all, just very disappointed in the mechanics.
Just not worth the $$$ for all the labor involved.
